Vendetta Of Revolutionary Social Experiments, "VORSE".
Experiment #0001-0005 (Cosplay & Social)
Facebook [link]
To raise the awareness that:
.1 Facebook contests based on the number of likes are a poor way of judging work quality. Network/Friend List/Spammage =/= Quality
.2 Too many camwhore-style photos are endorsed, can't see costume, only see the foreshortened head. The quality of costume, make up, pose & expression should come as a whole package as judging criteria.
.3 Costume wearers and costume makers are lumped together in general, ignoring the fact that there is significantly more effort by makers. There should be separate categories.
.4 Girls or sort thereof, get more support easily. [PROVEN]
.5 Contrary to their act/volition of joining a circle of attention-getters, some get pissed by others getting or receiving attention. [PROVEN]
Activity (optional):
1. Like Haru House.
2. Like my entry.
I'm currently one of the 15 finalists, being the only representative for males, yet i can only be there just because I'm doing a crossplay. Every "like" i get further proves my points in this experiment. I'm considered a newbie, inexperienced, and most of the people in my friends list here are my newly-made friends. It's proven that as long as i use certain methods, even as unacceptable as it may be, a newbie like me can survive that long in the contest. Whether I win or not in the end, I've already sort of achieved the desired result.
Disclaimer: I have nothing against any individuals or commercial entities; Everything I've been doing, including joining the contests and spamming, is all for VORSE.
If you think this is interesting, please invite more people to "attend" to this "event".
Hope you enjoy my little experiments.
Thank you for your participation.
Stay tuned~ More silly experiments up ahead! ^~^
